Our name, Insistrum, reflects our mission: to shake things up and make the creative landscape lively and exciting!

Our journey kicked off in the heart of a passionate art historian Eleni Doulgeraki at the dynamic crossroads of London and Athens. Fueled by a love for art and a desire to shake up how we engage with creativity, we created a space where tradition dances with innovation. Here, the echoes of the past mingle with the beat of modern life, creating a colorful tapestry of artistic expression and connection.

Our Mission

mY NAME IS ELENI DOULGERAKI

Eleni, is a dedicated Art Historian based in the UK, with a background in engagement curation and external communication, she has navigated the art scene both in Greece and the UK. Recognizing challenges faced by historians, curators, and artists, she founded Insistrum, in late 2022 to foster connections among art professionals. On a day to day basis, Eleni,is running insistrum and managing every aspect behind it. Her vision for Insistrum is to create a platform that actively connects, empowers and supports creatives within the dynamic landscape of the art world.

Maria is a Greek passionate art historian who is based in GR and views art as more than just a career but a perpetual source of inspiration. She is actively engaged in digital culture and believes in the potential of blending traditional and digital culture to bring new possibilities to the future of art.

Andreea is a Romanian visual artist and a curator based in the UK. Andreea exploring the connection between land and identity. She joined Insistrum a couple of months back and Andreea will be assisting the curation team with our future exhibitions!

Dimitra is a GR based writer and artist, as an artist, she merges art with interdisciplinary exploration. Her background in philosophy informs her approach, challenging conventional and modern art paradigms.
