Insistrum is thrilled to present its inaugural art exhibition in the UK: "The State in Between: Loss & Discovery."
This captivating showcase brings together 13 multidisciplinary artists from London, Reading, France, and Greece, each contributing their unique perspective on the theme. Through their diverse works, these artists transcend borders, seamlessly connecting distant locales while delving into the profound notions of Loss and Discovery. By exploring the intricate balance between these two concepts, they invite viewers to contemplate the rich tapestry of human experience that exists within the state in between.
Loss and discovery are not opposing forces; rather, they are intertwined experiences that shape our individual narratives. Often overshadowed in the journey of evolution, this state is crucial to our growth and understanding as individuals. Through this exhibition, artists are invited to explore the nuanced duality of these emotions and their profound influence on our personal journeys and evolving identities.
How do moments of loss illuminate unexpected pathways of discovery? Conversely, how do newfound discoveries evoke a sense of loss for what once was? And what does it feel like to experience the state in between? These are the questions artists are encouraged to explore and express through their artistic practice, employing symbolism, storytelling, or any other visual means of communication.
By engaging with the complexity of loss and discovery, artists have the power to shed light on the transformative nature of these experiences. Through their artworks, they offer viewers a deeper understanding of the intricate tapestry of human existence and how chaos can paradoxically bring us comfort.
The artworks showcased in this exhibition have the power to shine a light on the transformative nature of these experiences, inviting viewers to reflect on their own journeys and find solace in the shared human experience. We invite you to our exhibition in order to provoke thought, evoke emotions, and foster a sense of connection among its audience. Through symbolism, storytelling, and various visual means of communication, participating artists capture the raw emotions of loss & discovery.
