Eleni, a dedicated Art Historian, with a background  in engagement curation and external communication, she has navigated the art scene both in Greece and the UK. Recognizing challenges faced by historians, curators, and artists, she founded Insistrum, in late 2022 to foster connections among art professionals. Her vision for Insistrum is to create a platform that actively connects, empowers and supports creatives within the dynamic landscape of the art world.

Maria is a passionate art historian who views art as more than just a career but a perpetual source of inspiration.  She is actively engaged in digital culture through her postgraduate studies. Maria believes in the potential of blending traditional and digital culture to bring new possibilities to the future of art. In her role at Insistrum, she focuses on promoting community activities through social media and building relationships with artists and cultural spaces. She  contributes to the constructive process of merging traditional and digital art to enrich the Insistrum community.

Cherry Dodd is a UK based artist and art historian. In her writing she is interested in art’s socio-political function and provocative nature. This manifests in a focus on feminist, modernist and aesthetic discourse. When she is not furiously typing away at her laptop, Cherry is familiarising herself with the ways of the worm and the relations this has to wo(r)manhood, developing artistic responses to her findings.

Dimitra, an artist, merges art with interdisciplinary exploration. Her background in philosophy informs her approach, challenging conventional and modern art paradigms. Within the insistrum collective, she is emphasizing the crucial role of ideas in shaping actions and fostering effective communication. Her art and writing predominantly delve into philosophical insights, psychological aspects, and literary narratives, offering nuanced perspectives on the human condition.

Zoha is an enthusiast of all things art, from literature to fine art, performance art, cinema and theatre, and anything in between!

 Alongside her degree, which funnily enough is a STEM degree - I know, what are the odds- she is compiling her first poetry manuscript in the hopes of someday joining the rank of creatives adding magic to the mundane. Until then, she is delighted to be working with the wonderful team at Insistrum and is more than happy to join hands with the cherished readers and take them along to galleries, exhibitions, and breach the gates of contemporary innovation in this world within a world.

Zarina is a writer and theater enthusiast born and raised in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. She moved to London to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a published author. She mainly writes fiction focusing on fantasy while also interested in nonfiction research and historical novels. When she is not writing, you can find her in theater, fascinated and engrossed.

She wants to explore art through the prism of her culture and tell people more about why “East is a delicate matter.”
